and... You have no idea how bad it gets.

....

Last night I FINALLY got to watch the movie me and [info]mushroom18 have been LONGING to see for a VERY long time.

Yesterday was payday. I received my 320php share from the entrepreneurship we had last friday. So... I decided to get myself another copy of Resident Evil 4(I bought another copy hoping that it would not hang in the same area, only to end up more frustrated. LOL.) and try my luck in finding a P dvd copy of Brokeback Mountain(because usually, dvd copies of movies hit the shelves around 3-4 months after it's shown in the US).

I then walk up to the guy who was selling dvds.

"Meron ba kayong BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN?" translated in english---> "Do you have BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN?"

Apparantly he's not aware that it was a gay movie and happily sells me a copy for 70php. On the way home I couldn't help but be excited to try out my newly bought copy of RE4 and of course, watch Brokeback Mountain.

Upon reaching home, I quickly run for our room and try out RE4(and of course I was disappointed when it still hanged). Disappointed with my RE4, I decided to view the Brokeback Mountain dvd to see if the copy was indeed a dvd copy(aka dvd quality) and I was ecstatic when it was a very clear dvd copy.

Mom then enters the room just as the credits started rolling. I didn't stop playing the movie so that I would hopefully not arouse suspicion. And so, she watches along with me. She sees the dvd case and makes the conclusion, "Ano ba yan. Pa-cowboy-cowboy pa sila e bakla naman pala." translated--->uhh... it's hard to translate into english but it basically means "how can they be cowboys if they're gay?" LOL

The first 20 minutes of the movie included LOTSA sheep, talking, rainclouds and beautiful scenery. Mom almost fell asleep watching the first 20 minutes of the film. She told me she wished there was more action(like fight scenes in action movies) in the film because it was pretty boring. I, on the other hand enjoyed every second of soulful staring into Ennis and Jack's eyes.

After a couple more minutes, mom gets her wish. There was ACTION. >:) HOT MAN TO MAN SEX. It was obvious that Jack took the initiative; Ennis fights back for a moment, only to end up submitting to the unlawful act. LOL BWAHAHAHAHA.

After watching 1/4 of the movie(because the dvd player we were using was acting funky again) I stopped playing the movie to go to the other room to continue watching it. Dad then arrives home to see me watching the film then comments in a bad way that I’m watching gay movies BWAHAHAHA

He’s such a homophobe XD

I ignore his comment and continue to happily watch the film.

And once again, I cried near the end of the film. Not as much as when I read the story though… but it was more meaningful than when I read it.

Overall, the movie was AWESOME. Heath Ledger did an excellent job portraying his Ennis del Mar. He should win the best actor in the Oscars XD lol So does Jake Gyllenhaal…. THEY’RE SO IN LOVE! Lol And he’s perfect playing the role of an uke XD

@mushroom…--> bili ka na ng dvd a! lol

PUPUNTA NA AKO SA QUIAPO SA SATURDAY MUWAHAHHAHAHAHHAH BOW.

LOL I'm pretty sure na kahit papaano meron na silang cop dun XD sabihin mo lang, "meron na po ba kayong brokeback mountain?" lol they don't mind naman whether it's a gay movie or not e hahahaha
